In 2008 Toptip Holding Pte Ltd. was established in Singapore as an international trading company trading iron ore, steel products, scrap steel, coking coal, etc. Their trading network covers Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and North & South America. Like most startups Toptip began operations with largely manual trading and risk management processes. Spreadsheets were widely used across front, middle, and back office.
